Frontera Mex-Mex Grill in Conyers

This is a hard to see restaurant in a strip mall. Our waiter was very friendly and did a great job. They give you green and red salsa with your chips, both were good. My wife got a cranberry Margaretta and pronounced it delicious. If i lived closer, I would come here more.

Shaniqua was amazing today.(aka nikki) we were there for a few hours. She was great! Very personal. Very attentive and so sweet. Loved our time there. We are regulars.

Very good shrimp fajitas. For a Mexican restaurant it is a slight bit on the pricey side -- think 13-17 for a decent dish. But the portions are fairly sizeable and the overall experience probably a notch above the average Mexican fair. Overall a fair deal.

Our bartender mona was excellent and the drinks she made my friend and i were great. They make sure your ok. Only down fall, it smells like old dirty rags by the bar and my beef nachos were disgusting.

You walk up to the front door and there are dead plants In the planters that have been there for months. The employee swiping the outside patio sees us walk in yet makes us wait several minutes before walking in to seat us. The wait staff is walking around like they are zombies and don’t like working here. The chicken bowl I ordered was mediocre. Come on Frontera!!!

This was my first time trying this restaurant. The food tasted of burned cooking oil because the chips for the entree were fried in the bad oil. The food was Very Unpleasant to taste and could only be thrown out. I am very unhappy and not will return.

I have always enjoyed Frontera's. However, I place an order online for pickup and it was immediately cancelled thru Postmates. Don't understand this, as I was picking it up myself. Perhaps you should consider not using there service for online orders.

Great food, very friendly and patient staff.

A chance encounter with this restaurant did not disappoint. The chicken soup was amazing as was the new steak menu addition special. It was very clean and the staff were very attentive and aimed to please all customers. I plan to return very soon.

The servers were very nice and made sure that we were taken care of. We came in like 30 minutes before closing but we were never pressured or felt like we were being put out. All of our food was delicious and I even ordered Uber eats from the location today and the food was packaged well and everything was really good. I definitely recommend. Oh and the margarita was amazing! 🙂

Nothing to see here... inside resembles an old Piccadilly Cafeteria, with two large dining rooms filled with old (uncomfortable booths). So, the general Mexican food lunch offerings looked fine, but I opted for the “Mixteca Salad”- lettuce, tomatoes, crispy fried onions and blackened grilled chicken. This was all finished with a zesty lime cilantro vinaigrette.Our waitress was pleased with my order saying that it was a great choice. I, however, found the salad to be inedible. The chicken was not blackened, but bland and processed. The salad tasted as if someone poured a cup of lime juice over it. The worse were the onions that tasted like a clump of leftover onion rings that were not quite done. This may explain why there were only a dozen people having lunch in this huge facility. 😕

This spot gives first-rate service as well as tasty food. One of my favourite spots around here. The food and drinks served quick and the prices were inexpensive. Will definitely recommend this place.

They are promoting a new drink the sign said $5.99 but the server states its $7.99 because it is popular. I ask them why is the sign saying something else all they need to do was erase the chalkboard and correct the price. smh

I eat at this restaurant fairly often when working in the Conyers area. Their brown sauce is absolutely delicious. I had the chunky guacamole today and as always it was spot-on. I don't usually make it in time for the lunch menu but I had the super Speedy lunch item and it was very tasty too.

Great food. Good service. I recommend buying better straws because mine ripped causing me not to be able to drink my drink. I absolutely loved their service, everyone was lovely. I would definitely return.

The food is good. The chips and salsa are very good. Cheese dip is really good. This place is just ok for me. I prefer a different Mexican restaurant but overall not bad. The place is super clean

The server was good. She came to the table quickly and was attentive the whole time. The food was bad. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas. The rice was crunchy and some parts were mushy. I asked for another rice. When that came the rice soggy. As if they used instant rice, over soaked it and did not let it drain. I couldn't even eat it. The chicken was over cooked and pounded too thin. There was no flavor to my meal. My daughter got the kid meal burger. She liked it and said the cheese gave it taste. The fries were shoestring style. The kids cups are plenty full, like a medium size drink at a fast food chain. I did appreciate they offered a birthday dessert for my daughter, which was Churros. She really enjoyed them. I also ordered the Passion Fruit Margarita. That taste like it was only juice in a Margarita glass. This was my first going to Frontera and might be my last. This was not a good experience.

5 stars just for the service alone. Our waitress, Nikki was so kind and attentive. She was awesome! Otherwise, the food is just “ok” Tex-mex cuisine.

The food was great, the service was great. However, the karaoke was unbearable. So Loud that my children sitting beside me couldn’t hear me. No one was doing the karaoke except they guy who was running it. It was a terrible experience. No one wants to take their family to dinner and have to scream to have a conversation. Our food came out exactly like we ordered it in a timely fashion and was great. Our server, Christopher, was fantastic. I wish I could rate just him because he would’ve got 5 stars.

We go to Frontera once a week and have great food and service. Staff is always so polite. Will definitely keep bringing our business there.

They have the best service. The servers are super friendly and have a great attitude. I was there when it was busy but they were keeping pace with everything around them and was still good to us. The manager Monica made sure everything was good with us and everyone else.

I would not even choose 1 * but you have to in order to leave a comment. I called in my order she didn't get it right she barely spoke English and I was charged for things I did not get right in my order and I was very dissatisfied with the food as well I live too far to turn around and go back to show them the order

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants to frequent but the last couple of times it’s gotten sorry, lazy staff and orders never right....once again tonight was no exception...got our meal to go, checked the bag no brown sauce and missing parts to our order this place won’t last to much longer if they don’t get with the program and I hate that, hopefully management will see this post and actually care to make some changes.....fingers crossed

I'm sorry this has to be the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. To me, the menu alone lacked a lot of options offered at other Mexican restaurants. I ordered the shrimp and steak fajitas there was way too many onions and peppers filling the dish up in comparison to steak which had no flavor at all and the shrimp which lacked flavor also. I would never eat here again nor would I recommend this place. I was disappointed on so many levels.
